A balanced diet to lose weight:

There are many diseases which are seen and that arise due to excess of weight in the body. Obesity is one of the prime causes for a lot of diseases. And apart from that, a not so good looking figure reduces ones confident immensely and it is very difficult for a person to stand with pride in public. And the only aid against all of this is to loose weight. Weight loss is not an easy task. It requires immense determination and courage. But nothing is impossible.
A balanced diet with proper exercise is the need of the hour. Consuming up to 1500 calories per day should be the target. Avoiding junk foods and sweets is a must. Eating more fruits, vegetables, seeds, salads, juices, dry fruits etc is what should be a person’s meal. A lot of fiber needs to be included in a person’s diet. Things like green vegetables, fruits, beans, bran flakes, nuts, root vegetables, and whole grain foods contain fiber. Stir fried, barbequed, steamed or baked vegetables should be considered instead of deep fried foods. More than 4 eggs per week should be avoided. The amount of salt consumption should also be checked. Table salt should be avoided and things like pickles and chutneys should not be eaten.
Even, while eating salads, dressing of lemon juice and yogurt should be preferred than creamy dressings. Fresh fruit desert should be eaten rather than cookies, cakes or puddings. A glass of water should be drunk just before eating the meal. A bowl of soup is very healthy as it will decrease the food intake to up to 20 %.
